BURBANK, Calif., April 9, 2024 – The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) will discuss fiscal second quarter 2024 financial results via a live audio webcast beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
Results will be released before the opening of regular trading on May 7, 2024.

Previous earnings calls have provided not just information about Disney’s financial picture, but also information about new arrivals for Disney’s parks, films, and beyond. This will be the first earnings call from Disney after its recent annual shareholder meeting. At this meeting, Disney beat back proxy fights from Nelson Peltz and his Trian Group and also Blackwells Capital. Both groups were advocating for seats on Disney’s board, among other changes that were being sought. Disney decisively beat both of these groups and now is moving forward into an era of growth, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
The growth is built on a renewed focus on creativity and quality. It also will see $60 billion invested into its Experiences segments (home of Disney Parks and Resorts) in the next ten years. Disney is also striving to make its streaming services profitable and create more quality content.
