One fun tradition that is coming to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event from D23 Expos of the past is the Mousequerade costume contest. This special event will be taking place on the Premiere Stage with celebrity judges critiquing some incredible handmade costumes designed and created by D23 fans. Registration for this event is now open at D23.com.

While many of our panels and presentations are still to be announced, one thing we know for sure is that you’ll need to come to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event dressed to impress, because the Mousequerade costume contest is returning! From sitcom-starring supers to imperial galactic troopers, villains of the dark or icons of a park … Mousequerade invites all creators and designers to add a dash of pixie dust to their sensational stitchery, for the chance to be crowned in the ultimate fandom costume contest.
Fans can enter into any of three categories that best fits their cosplay creation, with one more chance to win as the fan-favorite Audience Choice!

The D23 Mousequerade: The Ultimate Disney Costume Contest is just one of many different offerings that will be found during this year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. There will be panels, exhibits, merchandise and more found throughout the Anaheim Convention Center during the day and special events at night at the Honda Center including a look at what is coming from the Walt Disney Studios, Experiences, and the ceremony for this year’s class of Disney Legends. This year’s event promises to live up to being the “ultimate Disney fan event.”
