Doctor Who

New Trailer Released for ‘Doctor Who’ By Disney+

A new trailer for the upcoming season of Doctor Who has been released by Disney+. This comes ahead of its arrival on Disney’s streaming service on May 10th. The trailer gives a look at the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, and Ruby Sunday, portrayed by Millie Gibson as they travel through time and space in the TARDIS. In this case, they are headed back to the 60s, the Regency era in England, war-torn futures, and more. The trailer also gives a first look at Indira Varma’s character as the Duchess. It also announces that Callie Cooke (Henpocalypse!) will make an appearance in the upcoming season. It also shows off the impressive guest cast list that includes Anita Dobson, Yasmin Finney, Michelle Greenidge, Bonnie Langford, Jinkx Monsoon, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush and Angela Wynter. This new Doctor Who trailer is full packed full of moments from the upcoming season and as the Doctor says, “Everything is Possible.” It sure seems that is true for this season.

Doctor Who Official Description

The upcoming season of “Doctor Who” follows the Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday as they travel across time and space, with adventures all the way from the Regency era in England, to war-torn future worlds. Throughout their adventures in the TARDIS – a time-traveling ship shaped like a police box – they encounter incredible friends and dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman, and the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet.

As can be seen by this trailer, Doctor Who is bigger and better than ever before. There clearly has been an upgrade in effects and with it, scope. It looks like this season of Doctor Who will at the very least look and sound better than ever before. With Russell T. Davies returning to run the series, it is quite possible that everything else will match the production value.

New episode of Doctor Who will debut on Disney+ on Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EDT + in the U.S. and around the world (excluding the U.K.). Audiences will be able to stream The Church on Ruby Road, which premiered last December, as well as two all-new episodes. In the U.K., Doctor Who begins streaming May 11 at midnight on BBC iPlayer, before airing on BBC One later that day, giving audiences a simultaneous global launch. New episodes will arrive Fridays on Disney+, where available, and on Saturdays on the BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK.

Doctor Who is produced by Bad Wolf, with BBC Studios for Disney Branded Television and BBC. Russell T Davies is the showrunner, executive producer and writer. Additional executive producers include Phil Collinson, Joel Collins, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter.
