This week at GUIDE: Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite, a show called Disney Channel Rocks! was offered multiple times throughout the event. This show was an instant hit by those in attendance as they heard some of their favorite songs from different Disney Channel programs. This performance lasted about 15 minutes and had four singers lighting up the night with their musical magic. However, this isn’t the only time a show with this name has been offered at the Disneyland Resort.
Disney Channel Rocks! also appeared at Disney California Adventure in 2010. This show once was offered on the Palisades Stage in front of Paradise Bay. This version of the show as a bit longer but definitely had some similarities. The original Disney Channel Rocks! included parts of 12 songs from Camp Rock, High School Musical, Cheetah Girls One World and Jump In, movies along with songs from T.V. shows like Shake It Up and Hannah Montana. It also had six singers, as opposed to 4. The newer version was also a bit shorter but very similar. Check out the new version and its predecessor in the videos below!
