On this day in 1956, actor, director, and producer Mel Gibson was born. Disney fans know him for his portrayal of John Smith in 1995’s ‘Pocahontas.’ Gibson performed both the speaking and singing voices of the character. Gibson may be best known for his performances in both the original ‘Mad Max’ and ‘Lethal Weapon’ series.
