On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the Disneyland Half Marathon will return to the Disneyland Resort. Thousands of runDisney runners will be running through and around the Disneyland Resort in the early hours of the morning. This year we thought it would be fun to get a group together and cheer them on! There are some friends of Daps Magic that are running in the half marathon and thousands of others who can be cheered on as well! We would love you to join us as we support those who are running and give them some added encouragement!
The Plan:
- Park at the Toy Story Parking lot by 4:30 AM and meet at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Katella Ave. in front of the the CVS on Katella Ave.
- The race will start at 5:00 AM and the Daps Magic Cheer Team will be on hand to cheer people on at the start of the race.
- After cheering people on at the beginning of the race, we will move closer to the finish line on Disney Way near the 13 mile marker.
- We will cheer on people as they come in to the home stretch!
- If you are running the race, let us know and we’ll keep our eyes open for you!
The two stars on this map is where we are generally planning on being to cheer on the runners for the Disneyland Half Marathon. Use this map and also reach out to Daps Magic on X/Twitter or Instagram.
Tips:

Pro Tips
If you’re making a sign, try using the brightest paper you can find – it will really help athletes be able to see it in the early morning hours before the sun comes up – and help your athlete pick out your sign from further distances.
Know your athlete’s pace so you know when to be at a viewing location and make it more likely you’ll see your friends and family run.
Plan your viewing locations ahead of time and be aware of how far apart they are from each other.
Know what your athlete is wearing so you can easily pick them out.
Have fun – cheer for everyone you see – and don’t forget your coffee!
The Disneyland Half Marathon is going to be a fun morning on many different levels. We hope we can add some extra fun and encouragement to those who are running the 13.1 miles. If you are running in the Disneyland Half Marathon and want us to cheer for you, please let us know and we’ll be watching for you! We wish the very best to those who are running and for those who are cheering, let’s make this awesome! We’ll see you on Sunday!
