For awhile it seemed that Paramount+ was going to become the streaming home for all Star Trek. However, as time has gone by, this hasn’t proven to be the case. As the streaming environment changes, so do the homes for different Star Trek movies and films. This can make things difficult for Star Trek fans who simply want to watch a favorite series or movie. With the coming of 2024, there are different locations to find different series and movies. Below is a look at where to find each Star Trek title.
Star Trek Series
Nearly all the Star Trek series still remain on Paramount+. However, not all of them. After being cancelled, Star Trek: Prodigy found a new home on Netflix. Currently the first season is available there with the second season coming later this year. Below is where to find each Star Trek series.
- Star Trek: The Original Series – Paramount+
- Star Trek: The Animated Series – Paramount+
- Star Trek: The Next Generation – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Voyager – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Enterprise – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Discovery – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Short Treks – Paramount+

- Star Trek: Picard – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Paramount+
- Star Trek: Prodigy – Netflix
Star Trek Movies
In 2021, all of the Star Trek movies could be found on Paramount+. However, with the arrival of 2024, this changed. Now to watch different Star Trek movies one must go to different streaming services. In this case, not Netflix, but MAX. Below is where each Star Trek movie can be found.
- Star Trek: The Motion Picture – MAX
- Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn – MAX
- Star Trek III: The Search for Spock – MAX
- Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home – MAX
- Star Trek V: The Final Frontier – MAX
- Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country – MAX
- Star Trek: Generations – MAX
- Star Trek: First Contact – MAX
- Star Trek: Insurrection – MAX
- Star Trek: Nemesis – MAX
- Star Trek – Paramount+
- Star Trek Into Darkness – Paramount+
- Star Trek Beyond – Paramount+
It isn’t known how long that the Star Trek movies that are on Max will be licensed over to that streaming service. It does appear that Star Trek: Prodigy will continue to live on indefinitely at Netflix, however. Daps Magic will continue to follow where Star Trek boldly goes and share where each series and movie can be found if and when they move again. As the streaming landscape continues to change, there could be more licensing of different titles in the future as each company looks to find a business model that works.
The future of Star Trek could also be determined by any future merger of Paramount with another studio or company could also have a dramatic impact. Only time will tell where the future for Star Trek will go.
