There are quite a few different parking options at the Disneyland Resort. For those who aren’t regularly visiting, this can be a bit daunting with different entrances in and around the resort for different parking options. This can be a bit confusing so Daps Magic has created a comprehensive guide for where to park based on what you are doing. Below are all the details for parking when visiting the Disneyland Resort to go to the theme parks, Downtown Disney District, and also the Disneyland Resort hotels.
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Parking
The Disneyland Resort offers convenient parking options for Guests visiting Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. As you approach the resort, you will find clear signage directing you to the available parking facilities. There are three main parking locations to choose from: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the adjoining Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Toy Story Parking Lot. All three locations are close to both theme parks, making it easy for Guests to access the parks.
Parking rates at the Disneyland Resort vary depending on the type of vehicle. For cars and motorcycles, the daily parking rate is $35. If you have an oversized vehicle, motor home, or tractor, the rate is $40, but this is only available at the Toy Story Parking Area. Buses or tractors with extended trailers can park at the Toy Story Parking Lot for $45. It’s important to note that parking is subject to availability, and prices may change without notice.
For those looking for a more convenient parking experience, Preferred Parking is available at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and Toy Story Parking Area. Preferred Parking offers closer proximity to elevators and escalators, making it easier to access the parks. The daily rate for Preferred Parking is $55 per vehicle, and availability is limited.
Parking locations for the theme parks open 60 minutes before the earliest standard Disneyland Resort theme park opening time. It is recommended to arrive at the resort at park opening time to ensure a smooth parking experience.
Accepted payment methods for parking include cash (bills up to $100 accepted), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Diner’s Club, Disney Rewards Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Dollars, and pre-paid parking vouchers.

If a designated disabled parking space is not available, there is no need to worry. A parking Cast Member will be present to assist you. They will guide you to the nearest available parking option that is closest to an elevator at the parking structures or to bus transportation at the Toy Story Parking Area. If you have specific parking needs, such as requiring additional space to lower a wheelchair ramp or lift, please inform a parking Cast Member for further assistance.

It’s important to note that wheelchair and ECV accessibility is also provided on Disneyland Resort transportation. However, wheelchairs and ECVs must fit without being forced on lifts, ramps, and in designated wheelchair spaces. Once on board the vehicle, wheelchairs and ECVs must be securely fastened using the provided restraints.
Please keep in mind that oversized wheelchairs, Electric Conveyance Vehicles, and scooters may be too large for some of the transportation options at the resort. If you have any concerns about the size of your mobility device, it is recommended to check with a Cast Member for further assistance.
