New content will soon be added to Disney Illusion Island. For those that already have this game, it will be free! Disney Games, in collaboration with developer Dlala Studios, announced that the new content is set to be released on December 13, 2023. It is called the Keeper Up update. This critically acclaimed 2D platform adventure features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Together, they are all on an adventure on the mythical island of Monoth.
This new fast-paced experience will have players trying to beat the clock while also showing off their parkour prowess. There will be challenges arranged by the “Mavens of Monoth,” a group of ‘old Monoth’ enthusiasts who want to see if anyone can navigate the lands better (and faster) than they can. There will be a timer that will activate when players enter the course. They will also be tasked with grabbing collectibles through remixed areas of the world as they make their way to the finish line as quickly as possible.
On top of the ‘Mavens of Monoth Time Trials’ features, Disney Illusion Island is also going to be receiving quality of life updates. This will include new accessibility features, new gallery unlocks, and an updated map. This will make this game even better, just before the arrival of the holidays. It could be a great present for someone else or just for present for one’s own collection.
