Recycling glass is magic!
Ecovidrio, the non-profit organization responsible for managing the recycling of glass packaging waste in Spain, and Disneyland Paris are joining forces for the fourth year running to bring parents and children together and raise awareness of the importance of recycling glass, caring for the planet and combating climate change.
The magic of glass recycling returns to the streets of 35 Spanish cities with the installation of Ecovidrio igloos decorated in the colors of Disneyland Paris. Buzz Lightyear, Captain America, Dumbo, Maleficiant, R2D2 and Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc are arriving in Spanish towns for the back-to-school season to raise awareness among families of the need to respect the environment and recycle glass packaging. Families can take part in saving the environment by depositing glass used at home in these fun containers, while enjoying the presence of their favorite Disneyland Paris characters.
Mini igloos inspired by Disneyland Paris characters can also be purchased on the www.miniglu.es website. All profits will be donated to the También Foundation, which works for the social inclusion of people with disabilities and the promotion of educational values through adapted sports activities.
