A trailer for the second season of the football (or soccer if you like) documentary Welcome To Wrexham has been released. The documentary follows the progress of Wrexham AFC as they are purchased and then grown by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who purchase the team in hopes of helping it grow from where it is. The club in question, Wrexham AFC, was founded in 1864 and is the third-oldest professional association football team in the world.
The first season documents the purchase of this club and then follows its efforts to move up from the National League to the Premiere League. Season two will continue to show the team’s quest for improvement. Ahead of the arrival of the second season of Welcome to Wrexham on September 12, 2023, a trailer has been released showing where this season will go.
