Disney Announces New “Frozen” Podcast

Disney has announced a new podcast that will continue the story of Frozen. Taking place after the events of Frozen II, The Disney Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature will continue the story of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and also introduce some new characters. This new podcast will aimed at the 6-12 year old audience and will be narrative in nature. It will be narrated by ABC News’ chief meteorologist Ginger Zee.

The plot of season one of the podcast is that Anna and Elsa find themselves facing a threat to the very spirits of nature itself. There are also strange copper mechanical beings roaming through the enchanted forests. Some of the news characters that will be included in this podcast are  Queen Disa, Lord Wolfgang and magpies Astrid and Magnus.

The Disney Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature will be arriving in October. It is unknown how much it will connect to the events that will happen in the upcoming Frozen II.

Queen Anna has a lot on her plate – there are visitors in her Kingdom, a friend in need, and even the Duke of Weselton’s nephew skulking around – so when the Spirits of Nature start acting up, she knows she has to solve the problem – and fast – before things get more out of control. But when Anna and Elsa travel to the Enchanted Forest, they find mysterious copper machines that are disrupting the natural order of things. Who made these machines and what are they doing in the forest? And more importantly, how do Anna and Elsa stop them? Disney’s Frozen: Forces of Nature is a 12 episode audio-first story for kids 6-12.
