Walt Disney World Genie Plus to Go Park by Park Starting June 27

Walt Disney World has announced that, starting June 27, Genie Plus will go to a park-by-park pay system. That means that different prices of Genie Plus will be based on the park. There is an option for Multi-Park for park hoppers so that you can make multiple Lightning Lanes throughout the day. And, yes, some parks are lower in price for Genie Plus than others. So far, the pricing looks like:

There has been no update of the pre-trip Genie Plus planning that was previously announced.

In my opinion, it is a great move considering there are some parks that have less attractions than others. Also, on some days, some attractions have a very low wait time later on in the day. I can remember a recent trip to EPCOT where it was useful to get Genie Plus for about three attractions, but not for all of them because it was easy to get on some later on in the day with very minimal wait. That doesn’t mean I regret purchasing Genie Plus, but I did wish it had been a little less to purchase.
