Details About Live-Action “The Little Mermaid” Ariel’s Arrival at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort Revealed

It has been known for a while that Ariel from Disney’s upcoming live-action version of The Little Mermaid will be coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World in celebration of the movie this summer. Now there are some more details that have been revealed about when Ariel will be arriving and where she will be.

Disneyland Resort

At the Disneyland Resort, Ariel will be flipping her fins and hopping out of the water to wander over to the area near it’s a small world. She will begin meeting and greeting guests at it’s a small world mall starting on May 26, 2023. This area has been utilized for character interactions regularly in recent years.

Walt Disney World

Ariel will also be making magic with fans without her flippers at Walt Disney World as well. For those who want to visit her in Florida, they will need to head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Ariel will be meeting and greeting guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney Presents. She will be arriving at this location on May 26, 2023 as well.

At this point, exact set times have not been revealed for Ariel’s meet and greets at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort. The Little Mermaid arrives in theaters on May 26, 2023. This live-action retelling of the animated classic stars Halle Bailey in the title role. It includes new music by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda and is directed by Rob Marshall.
