On Monday April 24, Phat Cat Swinger, the West Coast’s little big band, finished up its season of performances for the 2023 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. Fans were out in force to catch the band’s final performance of the season, and they weren’t disappointed. Throughout the afternoon and into the early evening Phat Cat Swinger played fan favorites that ranged from Disney classics to some Phat Cat Swinger original tunes.
The Daps Magic team arrived for part of the final day to take in some of the performances. This included half of the second set and the entirety of the final two sets. After a warm weekend, the weather was perfect and sun was beginning to lower in the West as the band performed songs like The Bare Necessities, Martini Mama, Dos Oruguitas, Beauty and the Beast, and many others before wrapping the night and season up with Everybody Wants to Be a Cat. This song also included a lightsaber duel and was a fantastic end of the season for the band.
