Halley Bailey, the singer and actor who will be starring in the title role of the upcoming live-action The Little Mermaid has been announced at the celebrity ambassador for the 2023 Disney Dreamers Academy. She appeared in a cavalcade at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and is among several celebrities, educators, business leaders and Disney cast members taking part this week in the event, which is aimed at broadening career awareness and creating exclusive opportunities for Black students and teens from underrepresented communities.
The Disney Dreamers Academy gives 100 select students the chance to experience immersive career workshops, networking sessions and mentorship events at Walt Disney World Resort. Halle Bailey is one of several celebrities, educators, business leaders and Disney cast members that aims to broaden career awareness and creating exclusive opportunities for Black students and teens from underrepresented communities.
