New Character Posters Released One Week Before Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ Arrives on Disney+

On March 1, 2023, season 3 of The Mandalorian will be arriving on Disney+. The highly anticipated season will see Mando and Grogu going off on new adventures with new and old friends and foes. This season also looks to be particular for those who have any interest in what happened on Mandalore after the events that have been shown in the animated Star Wars series.

Ahead of the arrival of season 3, new character posters have been released. The first one shows Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu. The second is of Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff). Finally, the third focuses on Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), the leader of the Bounty Hunters’ Guild.

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu,” says the synopsis. “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. As has been the case for previous seasons, there is an impressive roster of directors on board for season 3 of The Mandalorian. This includes returning directors Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, and Bryce Dallas Howard. They are joined by newcomers Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), and Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison.

The Mandalorian is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck. Favreau is also the showrunner and a director for the show.
