The CreativeSoul Doll Collection Inspired by Disney Princess is now available in Disney Parks and also on shopDisney. These beautiful dolls are really works of art. They take inspiration from Disney Princess and star young girls across the African diaspora as concept models.
The dolls are created to have natural hairstyles and are highlighted with intricate costumes. They are designed by husband-and-wife duo Regis and Kahran Bethencourt. The costumes included beaded details along with embellished African fabrics, accessories, and accents as they pay tribute to Tiana, Snow White, Rapunzel and Cinderella.
The whole collection re-imagines what classic princesses could look like through a diverse lens. Both Regis and Kahn are appearing at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts from February 3-5 to give signing opportunities.
The dolls are 11 inches tall and retail for $59.99. They are available starting today at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, select shopping locations at Disneyland Resort, and also on shopDisney.
