Merry Christmas! We hope you are enjoying celebrating in whatever way is special to you with people that are also special to you. As we celebrate this special day, we thought it would be fun to share a fun tradition this year from Norway at EPCOT. Norway is one of the many pavilions where storytellers share their traditions and how they celebrate the season in their native homeland. In the Norway pavilion, this includes A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa.
The story begins with a girl named Sigrid telling about the holiday traditions in Norway. She grew up on a farm but isn’t a believer in the Barn Santa. She mentions him but doesn’t seem to be a believer. Little does she know, he has arrived as she tells her story. Of course, as one could guess by the title of the story, mischief does ensue as Santa helps Sigrid tell her story.
The story is one of many that are told around the World Showcase during the EPCOT International Festival of Holidays. Have you experienced any or all of the storytellers around EPCOT? If so, which one is your favorite? If not, what do you think of A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa? Share your thoughts, experiences, and opinions in the comments below! Merry Christmas!
