Anna, Elsa, and Olaf have returned to their meet and greet location in the Animation Building in Disney California Adventure. This comes after the royal sisters have been meeting on Buena Vista Street since the reopening of the parks last year. According to the Disneyland App, Anna and Elsa will be meeting with guests in the Animation Building between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Olaf, who is wasn’t on the Disneyland App on opening day, is also meeting with Anna at the location. The two sisters are dressed in their outfits as seen in Frozen 2.
On the day of their return, the location was fairly popular with the line doubled back in the main room of the Animation Building. The line did keep moving at a decent pace, however. It appeared that the return of Anna and Elsa was the main attraction for the building as Turtle Talk with Crush and Animation Academy queues weren’t overly packed. The Sorcerer’s Workshop also seemed quiet. The line to visit the Frozen characters took a little over an hour.
It appeared that on the first day some guests met both Anna and Elsa and others met Anna and Olaf. While filming the Daps Magic video, Anna and Olaf were meeting guests as seen below. There was also no photopass when this video was filmed. This might change throughout the day.

The return of the Arendelle royalty to the Animation Building is one more step towards normalcy at the Disneyland Resort as it continues its phased reopening. This comes after the parks were closed for over a year due to the pandemic.
Anna and Elsa originally appeared at the Disneyland Resort in Fantasyland at Disneyland. At their first arrival, Olaf could be found on the roof of their cottage in Fantasyland.
