Disneyland Resort Celebrates Disney+ Day and Arrival of ‘Pinocchio’ on Disney+ with Photo Op, Mickey Ears, and More!

The Disneyland Resort is celebrating Disney+ Day and also the arrival of the live-action Pinocchio on Disney+. This morning, Disney+ subscribers could get early entrance into the parks. Once inside, there were Disney+ Mickey ears and Disney+ buttons handed out and kids received blue balloons.

In Town Square, a photo op was found celebrating the arrival of Pinocchio on Disney+. This new version is directed by Robert Zemeckis and has a star-studded cast. This includes Tom Hanks as Geppetto. He is joined by actors Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, Cynthia Erivo, and Luke Evans.

In the morning, Pinocchio could also be found in Fantasyland next to the attraction that tells his story. Throughout the resort, there were also special Magic Shots available from Disney PhotoPass. Blue churros were also being sold at select locations as well.

Along with celebrations in the parks, there is also a new offer for Disney+. This deal is available currently and will continue to be through Monday, September 19 at 11:59 PM PT.
