On August 12, 2022, a new original special with the Peanuts will arrive on Apple TV+. Lucy’s School celebrates educators and is based on the classic Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. A trailer has been released by Apple TV+ ahead of the program’s arrival on the streaming service.
Lucy’s School Description
The Peanuts gang are anxious about starting at a new school in the fall, inspiring Lucy to start her own school instead, but teaching isn’t as easy as it sounds. “Lucy’s School” is a love letter to teachers, and an appreciation of the impact a teacher can have on a child. It explores the fear of change, and shows how Lucy, supported by her friends, faces and overcomes her own fears.
Lucy’s School is produced by Peanuts and WildBrain. It is directed by Raymond S. Persi (It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown), written by Craig Shulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, who are also executive producers. They are joined by Paige Braddock, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Amir Nasrabadi, and Anne Loi, who also are executive producers. It is produced by James Brown and Timothy Jason Smith.
Along with the arrival of Lucy’s School on August 12, new episodes of season two of The Snoopy Show will also be arriving.
