Disneyland Paris Lights Up The Night With Special Nighttime Spectacular for Bastille Day Celebration

On Thursday, July 14, the skies above Disneyland Paris came to life as a special fireworks spectacular helped celebrate Bastille Day. Formally known as Fête nationale française, and officially le 14 juillet, Bastille Day is a national celebration in France that celebrates the anniversary of Storming of Bastille during the French Revolution.

For Bastille Day, a special fireworks show was presented to celebrate, just after both the Disney D-Light and Disney Illuminations nighttime shows. The presentation included both fireworks and choreographed drones. It featured Disney and Pixar classics that have French connections. This included Ratatouille, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and The Aristocats. There were also five hundred drones flying over Sleeping Beauty Castle. They brought to life some of the greatest symbols of French culture in the sky. Guests could see the drones recreate the French flag, the Eiffel Tower, and the rose window of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
