Grand Opening of The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney Vacation Club Has Grand Opening at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

This week Disney Vacation Club celebrated the opening of 200 new resort studios at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with a special dedication ceremony. The ceremony was inspired by the tea party from Alice in Wonderland.

Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club was on hand for the event. He shared some dedication remarks and also encouraged guests to explore the new resort studios.

“Celebrated for its Victorian architecture and elegance, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of our ‘grandest’ Disney Vacation Club resorts,” said Diercksen. In addition to the expansion, Diercksen also shared that new enhancements have been made to existing villas.

As the dedication “tea party” began to wrap up, Alice, Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit helped lead the way to the magical key that revealed the first look at these new resort studios.
