Disneyland Paris has canceled its New Year’s Eve party. The party was canceled due to the continuing challenges presented by the pandemic. A statement was posted on the Disneyland Paris website.
Those who had tickets to the party can get a refund. For tickets that were purchased online through the Disneyland Paris website or by telephone, the refund will be automatic. If a ticket was purchased at the Park entrance, guests will need to contact Disneyland Paris for a refund. Guests who bought from a third party will need to reach out to that third party directly. Disneyland Paris is also giving guests who had tickets and hotels packages will also get a refund as well. This will not include insurance and/or transport fees though. Those who had booked a New Year’s Eve Dinner included with the Disney New Year’s Eve Dinner can keep their dinner booking. In this case, the guests will be offered gift cards as compensation for the party. Guests can also request a full refund.
While the New Year’s Eve Party at Disneyland Paris has been canceled, Disneyland will still remain open until 1:00 AM on January 1st. Walt Disney Studios will remain open until 12:30 AM. For more information, visit the Disneyland Paris website.
The party had promised to include exclusive entertainment from Mickey and friends, late-night access to attractions, and also a special fireworks show over the recently renovated Sleeping Beauty Castle.
