Dash Joins Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

A young Hartmann’s mountain zebra foal can now be found by guests who are experiencing the Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Dash, who was born in April, is now out enjoying the savannah. Disney has shared some photos of this young zebra enjoying his natural playground.

In a statement from Disney, it was shared that Dash received his name from Disney keepers “in honor of his spunky spirit and dash stripe on his left shoulder – identical to the one on the shoulder of his mother, Heidi.”
