Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week we share the top five headlines from Disney and geek news! This week, it is all Disney! This comes as things return, open, and reopen in the parks!
First off, at the Disneyland Resort, Disney’s Paradise Pier will be reopening on July 15th! This comes on the same day that the state of California aims to reopen after seeing many things shut down due to the pandemic in the last year.
Over at Walt Disney World, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be launching in 2022. The announcement for this also included a look at the “real” lightsaber with Rey! What’d you think of it? This fall, Magic Kingdom will be celebrating Halloween with a new BOO Bash. This after-hours ticketed event will be on select nights during the Halloween season. As Walt Disney World Resort continues to move towards a “normal” experience, temperature screenings will be dropped later this month. Finally, the College Program is returning to Walt Disney World Resort!
