Imagineer Zach Riddley Reveals Ride Vehicles for EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley unveiled what the ride vehicles for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will look like when the attraction opens at EPCOT. The look at the attraction reveals blue ride vehicles with a paint scheme to shows rockets that have been whizzing through the galaxy and showing the wear from the journeys.

The design for the wear markings on the ride vehicles is completely unique for each vehicle. Imagineers were inspired by the markings and impact marks that appear on NASA Space Shuttles and other spacecraft that appear upon reentry on a return trip to Earth.

The vehicle from Riddley came via an Instagram post. Currently, there isn’t an opening date for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. DAPS MAGIC will continue to monitor this story though and provide updates when they become available.
