Guests Will Not Be Able to Ring in 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort Parks

Over the years, many Disney fans have made it their tradition to ring in the new year at Disney parks. Unfortunately, this will not be possible for fans as we head into 2021. Walt Disney World Resort has put out their park hours for New Year’s Eve and it has been made apparent that they will not be adjusting hours for the holiday.

Here is a look at the park hours for New Year’s Eve 2020:

Magic Kingdom Park: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

EPCOT: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Disney Springs: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm

Of course, with these hours, it will be impossible to ring in 2021 at a Disney park. I truly believe this is for the best because if you have ever seen a New Year’s Eve celebration at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort, the parks become packed with people who all want to countdown and celebrate the new year!

Though many people want to celebrate to wish 2020 farewell, it seems that it will be for the best to do smaller individual celebrations! If you will be at Walt Disney World Resort during this time, I would plan to watch the countdown from your hotel room and celebrate that way!
