D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has announced dates for the next D23 Expo. This ultimate fan event for Disney fans will be taking place from September 9-11, 2022. This is a year later than initially expected. The announcement by D23 was made on social media. At this D23 Expo, plans for how The Walt Disney Company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary will be shared.
Traditionally the D23 Expo has been held every other year since the first one was held September 10-13, 2009. It was expected that the next D23 Expo would take place in 2021. This, however, is no longer the case. It can be surmised that this is another thing to be impacted by the current pandemic.
