The illustrated maps found in Disney Maps: A Magical Atlas of the Movies We Know and Love really are beautiful. They have a wonderful style to them that feels timeless and classic. They draw the reader into the story in a unique way and are full of details that really are fun to explore. The pages are simply charming and remind me of reading classic Disney books with my grandma growing up. Each map really would be beautiful as a piece of art that could easily be framed.
The structure of the book is quite enjoyable. It doesn’t go too deep but there are some highlights from each story to check out along with some other details of note throughout the book. Sometimes these details are characters, other times they are factoids from the film being shared. The writing is at a level that all ages will enjoy reading, including the younger Disney fans.
