Tokyo Disneyland is now open again! On the morning of July 1st, the gates for both of the parks at the Tokyo Disney Resort reopened for the waiting guests to reenter. This comes months after the parks were closed due to the impact of COVID-19. One guest that was on hand is a friend of DAPS MAGIC who shared a few of her experiences via video. Her videos show a very empty park with people wearing face masks and social distancing.
The first video shows her entrance into Tokyo Disneyland. It’s quite lovely to watch as the rain comes down.
The second video finds our friend walking around the entrance of Tomorrowland starting near The Big Bop and then eventually making her way into the heart of Tomorrowland.
While not completely open yet, it is possible to walk around Belle’s Village and get a look at what is in store when Belle’s attraction eventually opens. Our friend took a walk around this beautiful new area of Tokyo Disneyland!
Finally, she shared a video with DAPS MAGIC of a stroll from Fantasyland into Critter Country and eventually Splash Mountain. With this stroll some of the safety guidelines can be seen on the ground at the entrance of Splash Mountain.
The reopening of Tokyo Disneyland was a big day for Disney fans around the world, but specifically, those who live close to the parks and were able to visit. A big thank you to our friend who shared these videos with DAPS MAGIC.
