Tokyo Disneyland Resort App Now Available on International App Stores

disney resort app

For the first time, the Tokyo Disney Resort app is available on international app stores! Before this week, you had to be in Japan and create a Japanese Disney account to download the app to your smartphone. Now, the app is available in worldwide markets including the United States and Canada!

The app is similar to the Disneyland app and My Disney Experience in which you can plan out your vacation. On the Tokyo Disney Resort app, you can reserve Fastpass digitally, check wait times, and enter the show viewing lottery all from your phone! The fact that the app is now available internationally gives traveling guests a chance to familiarize themselves with the layout and get ready for their trip!

At Tokyo Disneyland Resort, you must enter a show viewing lottery to see entertainment productions on stage. Previously, you had to attempt to redeem a physical FastPass 30 minutes before a show began and you can only enter for one show per park per day. The fact that travelers will now be able to have the app available on their smartphone means that guests will be able to enter the show viewing lottery from anywhere in the park!

Have you traveled to the Tokyo Disneyland Resort before? Are you excited to see that the app is now available for download? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know what you think!
