Harrison Ford has shared that filming will be staring for Indiana Jones 5 in April. The news came out of an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
In an interview with lee Cowan, Ford was asked what challenges came with returning to roles like Han Solo or Indiana Jones after such a long time between doing them.
“Trying to not look silly… you know… hang around in tight pants and high boots.” Ford playfully joked. “I’ll give you a more appropriate answer, considering I’m going to start doing Indiana Jones in about two months.”
If this ends up being true, this would be the first time since 2008 that Harrison Ford would don that hat for an adventure. The last one was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Earlier this month Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that the script is being worked on to get it “where we want it to be.” She also reaffirmed that this film will “not be a reboot, but a continuation.” This is a reaffirmation of earlier statements.
Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 9, 2021.
