If there is one constant at Disney Theme Parks it is the fact that things are always changing. However, sometimes things change more noticeably than at other times. With the end of the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort, it entered one of these seasons of change. With this, walls have sprung up around several attractions at Disneyland. DAPS MAGIC contributor Steven grabbed some pictures of some of the changes showing up around Disneyland on Tuesday. Take a look at some of what is happening at the Disneyland Resort below!
it’s a small world holiday
As happens every year after the holidays, walls are springing up around it’s a small world following the conclusion of its holiday run. This is what it looked like on Monday. While full on walls haven’t arrived yet, it’s a small world is not operating while the holiday overlay is removed. In just a couple of weeks it will be back and guests will be sailing on the happiest cruise on Earth!
Snow White’s Scary Adventure
Walls also appeared at Snow White’s Scary Adventure. This is for a more extensive refurbishment the attraction is receiving to upgrade effects and also tell the story of Snow White better on the attraction. If previous Fantasyland attraction upgrades are any indication, this attraction will be more magical than ever when it returns later this year!
Mark Twain Riverboat
The Mark Twain has also put into dry dock at Fowler’s Harbor to receive some tender loving care. This beloved riverboat was surrounded by walls and Fowler’s Harbor was being drained on Tuesday as work began to polish the Mark Twain up. In the evening during Fantasmic!, the finale was performed on Tom Sawyer Island in lieu of being aboard the Mark Twain.
This year will be a very exciting year at the Disneyland Resort with lots of new magical experiences arriving! This season of change is an exciting time ahead of the arrival and return of some magical attractions at the Disneyland Resort! In just over a week Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be opening at Disneyland, in February the Magic Happens Parade will step off on the parade route, and then this summer Avengers Campus will be opening at Disney California Adventure!
