It’s time to transport to a galaxy far, far away in a way we’ve never seen before! Next year, kids around the galaxy can prove themselves on their very own Star Wars-themed game show that will test all the important parts of being a Jedi. In Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge, young Jedis will prove their strength, knowledge, and bravery as they face all types of important challenges!

The show will be hosted by Ahmed Best, who Star Wars fans may know as Jar Jar Binks.  Best will mentor the contestants as the resident Jedi Knight and will use his special skills of acting, dancing, music, and martial arts to help develop the new class of Jedi. Best will be joined by a humanoid droid voiced by Mary Holland (VEEP, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre).

“This is definitely a kids game show like no other,” says Lucasfilm’s senior director of Online Content & Programming, Mickey Capoferri. “The various challenges will test a Padawan’s connection to the Force in three locations — a forest planet, onboard a Jedi star cruiser, and inside a Jedi Temple — immersing them and the audience in a fun, humorous, and exciting competition.”

This game show will definitely bring the spirit of competition and growth that is prevalent in Star Wars to an all-new light when this show hits Dinsey+ in 2020.
