Sunday Spotlight: Jedi Training – Trials of the Temple

Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is a Star Wars interactive show that has been running at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In this show, young padawans learn how to face their fears as they work to become Jedi. This is done under the guidance of a Jedi Master and their padawan.

This show has brought to life the dreams many Star Wars fans of facing the dark side and dueling with Darth Vader and the Dark Side. Through the years and various incarnations of this show, fans have been able to also fight Darth Maul, the Seventh Sister, and now Kylo Ren. The only complaint I personally have about this show through the years is the fact that I couldn’t participate (it’s limited to children)! Instead, I have watched and let my imagination take flight as the fight between the Light Side of the Force and the Dark Side takes place in front of me.

Today is the final day for this show at the Disneyland Resort. It will definitely be missed. It will still continue on at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the foreseeable future. It remains to see what happens with Star Wars outside of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge once it opens next year.

The following is a video taken on Saturday, November 3, 2018 which was the second to last day for this show at the Disneyland Resort. We hope you enjoy!
