Next year, gear up to go on another epic adventure! Indiana Jones Adventure will be undergoing a major refurbishment in 2020, one that could restore effects that fans have loved for nearly 25 years. No matter what happens, we can’t wait to see how this ancient temple transforms to welcome new guests!
While it is currently unknown when this attraction will undergo this transformation, we do know that it will take place next year. The Temple of the Forbidden Eye will also be celebrating a quarter-century of inviting brave guests inside its walls next year.
On March 3, 1995, this one-of-a-kind attraction opened to the public and immediately became a hit among guests. In recent years, many guests have begun to look back at things that are no longer operating in the attraction and could potentially come back. One that has been a major subject of discussion is the long-forgotten falling rock effect. We may have no idea of what is to come but this is definitely something that would be fun to see come back!
Next year will be a major year for Disney attractions, as Snow White’s Scary Adventures will also undergo a refurbishment. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these attractions, as well as many others around Disneyland Resort. Until then, watch our video below to enjoy Indiana Jones Adventure in its current iteration! Just remember, don’t look into the eyes of Mara.
