Michael Colglazier to Add Disneyland Paris to Leadership Responsibilities

In one of several moves of executives for Disney Parks, Experience and Products, Michael Colglazier will be adding Disneyland Paris to his portfolio. Currently, Colglazier is the President, Disney Parks Eastern Region and Managing Director, Asia Pacific. This was a role that was created ahead of Disney acquisition of Fox. With Bob Chapek being focused on the integration of Fox assets within his purview, Colglazier and Catherine Powell were given roles overseeing the Western and Eastern hemispheres for the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Powell recently departed from Disney. Colglazier will now be the president and managing director, Disney Parks International which will also oversee Disneyland Paris. Powell previously led Disneyland Paris.

Michael Colglazier has been with The Walt Disney Company for over three decades. Throughout his career at Disney, much of it has been focused on Disney Parks. He has worked with Operations, Global Development, Disney Photo Imaging, Operations Strategy and Technology, and Strategic Planning during his career. He was previously the president of the Disneyland Resort, Vice President of Disney Photo Imaging, and also a Vice President on the Global Development team for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He also led Disney’s Animal Kingdom, overseeing the day to day operations there. He was also a part of the planning and development stages of Pandora – The World of Avatar.

In this new structure, Disneyland Paris president Natacha Rafalski will report to Colglazier. Colglazier will continue to oversee operations and development for Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort with the Oriental Land Company and Shanghai Disney Resort.
