Maleficent Preview

Maleficent Preview Opens Every Night to Guests at Disneyland Resort Beginning This Evening

What would Halloween be without some Disney villains making an appearance? Starting tonight, you can catch a preview for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in Mickey’s PhilharMagic theater! The Maleficent preview begins each night a 6 p.m. to give guests a villainous look into the next film.

Our good friend, Steven, bravely ventured into the theater to see all that had been transformed. There are quite a few signs noting that guests would be catching this special sneak peek instead of the classic Mickey show. one of my favorite details is that the new sign outside changes to reflect which offering is inside the building! You can check out even more of the photos below.

The Maleficent preview will run each night after 6 p.m., so there will be many opportunities to catch it! If you’re concerned about missing Donald’s adventures into some of your favorite movies, don’t worry! The show will still perform to guests every day before 6 p.m.!

The preview seems to be opening to a large group of fans, all excited to see what is in store when the film hits theaters next month. Steven reported that the theater is full of excited fans and it is the busiest he has seen it in a long time! If the crowds keep up, be sure to get your spot for the showing early!

You can catch Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” when it hits theaters on October 18, 2019.

Will you be catching this preview in Disney California Adventure Park? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know!

Another huge thank you to our friend Steven, (Instagram, Twitter), for all the help snapping these photos directly from the preview!
