This summer has brought some new and exciting experiences to the Disneyland Resort. While Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been the hot ticket for guests visiting the resort, some limited time offerings have been a hit among guests! Soarin’ Over California
Originally a part of the opening of Disney California Adventure in 2001, Soarin’ has always been a guest-favorite. In 2016, the attraction changed to Soarin’ Around the World, and the original version was brought back for the month of June. It has been such a hit with guests, that they extended its run, which you can experience until August 31st.
“Tale of the Lion King”
With the live-action re-telling of The Lion King released this summer in theaters, Disney California Adventure got a fun, new show to celebrate the classic film! The show is a fantastic musical tribute to the 1994 Disney hit, while also excites audiences for the new version. It’s perfect to sing and dance along to, and even has some interaction for the kiddos. You can catch this show daily on the Paradise Gardens Stage until September 2nd.
Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration
This one-of-a-kind pop up celebrates all things Mickey Mouse, and is the perfect place to take bright and colorful photos! The limited time pop up opened in April, but you can still purchase tickets online for this unique experience, open until September 2nd.
“Disneyland Forever”
A favorite fireworks show among many, this spectacular was created for Disneyland’s Diamond Anniversary Celebration in 2015. They brought back this incredible show for the summer, and you can enjoy this musical fireworks spectacular until September 2nd.
“Main Street Electrical Parade”
This iconic and beloved nighttime parade has been a part of Disney history for almost 50 years. It has been loved by generations of Disney fans, and it’s iconic tune is nostalgic for many. This nighttime parade has returned to Disneyland and can be seen nightly until September 30th.
