We are just 50 Days from Disney’s “The Lion King” hits theaters everywhere! After “Aladdin” delighted fans of the original film, we are even more excited to see this re-telling of a fan favorite story. To celebrate, there are all new character posters and even a TV spot to enjoy!
Disney’s “The Lion King” will take us into Africa when a future King is born. The kingdom is full of betrayal and heartbreak as families fall apart over the quest for power. When Simba is exiled, he’ll find some unlikely friends who help him grow in order to take back what is rightfully his. Be sure to catch this film when it hits theaters July 19!
This isn’t the only celebration of “The Lion King”! This summer, head to Disney California Adventure Park to experience The Tale of the Lion King. This fun show will take over the Palisades stage in Paradise Gardens and tell the story of our beloved Simba. The Storytellers of the Pride Lands will tell us stories in a contemporary way, using dancers, drummers, and singers. We just can’t wait to see this come to life!
