We all know that the biggest Disney parks news of the year is the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on both coasts. While Walt Disney World‘s new land will open on August 29th, guests who want to avoid the crowds at Hollywood Studios can head on over to Epcot. The annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will run from August 29th – November 23rd. It will be the longest festival in Epcot history and run for 87 days! It is a fan favorite festival and will bring back all of the food booths, culinary demos, concerts and more that everyone loves.
The Eat to the Beat concert series will be back with a lineup of music acts from many genres will be announced on TasteEpcot.com, as well as celebrity chefs. The concert series will end earlier than the festival in order to prep for the Candlelight Processional season.
In addition to the Food and Wine Festival returning, the Epcot International Festival of Holidays will make its return from November 29th – December 30th. Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the holiday traditions of each of the 11 countries represented in World Showcase, while also enjoying special holiday foods. The beloved Candlelight Processional will also make its return and feature celebrity narrators, a full orchestra and massive choir, all while telling the Christmas Story in traditional form.
Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information about both of these Epcot festivals.
