Work continues to be done around the Disneyland Resort ahead of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening on May 31st. Anyone visiting over the last few months has noticed walls, new sidewalks, and quite often smaller planters. All of this is part of Project Stardust, an initiative to make ready the Disneyland Resort for the influx of guests Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is expected to bring.
The newest change to be noticed comes courtesy of a friend of DAPS MAGIC, Roger (@rgrrabbit1 on Instagram). Today a new sign has appeared in front of the entrance to Adventureland. While new the location, the sign originally could be seen by guests disembarking from The Jungle Cruise on the Tahitian Terrace. The entrance is expected to undergo more changes soon. A permit was filed to remove the current Adventureland sign. A new entrance that will hopefully utilize the original sign will soon replace it.
The sign discovered by Roger is just to the right of the entrance of Adventureland. It is not known at this time what the end result will be for the entrance to Adventureland. This sign is temporary as Disneyland works on installing the permanent new entrance sign. According to the Orange County Register, this will hopefully “preserve and reuse” the sign that currently hangs over the entrance to the land.
