The Muppets

Play the Music! The Muppets are Set to Come to Disney+ Streaming Service in 2020

Muppets fans rejoice! It is once again time to play the music and light the lights! We are excited to announce that the Muppets are making a comeback to Disney+ streaming service!

Fans had been assuming (or hoping) that some of their favorite Disney properties would make their way on to the new streaming service when it unveils later this year. One of the biggest hopes I had seen floating around was a dream that Disney would somehow utilize The Muppets once again. After the show on ABC was canceled after just one season, fans were left wanting to see more of Kermit and the gang.

Today, we got news that our dreams weren’t too far off! Josh Gad (Frozen) and the creative duo behind ONCE UPON A TIME Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz have created MUPPETS LIVE ANOTHER DAY. This show takes place right after the events of 1984’s THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN.  Kermit disbands the gang but they are brought back together after the mysterious disappearance of Rowlf.

Though we won’t see the series popping onto our feeds until 2020, we are already excited!
