Sunday Spotlight: Disney Paint the Night Parade

There are many magical experiences to catch at the Disneyland Resort. A recent favorite that has been gone for awhile will soon be back. With the arrival of Pixar Fest on April 13, Disney Paint the Night Parade will be returning to the Disneyland Resort.

The Disney Paint the Night Parade originated at Hong Kong Disneyland before replicated at the Disneyland Resort. The Hong Kong Disneyland version of Paint the Night arrived during a soft opening on September 11, 2014, before officially opening on October 1. Paint the Night arrived at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA on May 22, 2015. It ended its first run at the Disneyland Resort on September 5, 2016, before returning for the holiday season later in the year. After which, the Main Street Electrical Parade made a limited-time magic run at the Disneyland Resort.

On Friday, April 13, Paint the Night will be returning to the Disneyland Resort as a part of Pixar Fest. This time, the parade will be lighting up the night at Disney California Adventure. It will also showcase a new float based off of The Incredibles. Incredibles 2 will be arriving in theaters on June 15, 2018.
