At the D23 Expo in Japan, more details on the upcoming Pixar Pier transformation at Disney California Adventure emerged. The “new” area of the park will open June 23. An overhanging gateway will have the Pixar lamp on the marquee to welcome guests. Paint the Night will get a new float featuring the Incredibles also in June. The float will be in time for the film that will be in theaters this year.
Though Pixar Pier and the Incredibles float will come in June, Pixar Fest is still set to start April 13. With Pixar Pier opening in June, it means the Incredicoaster will also be opening at that time too.
