Tokyo Disneyland Resort to Celebrate 35 Years Beginning April

April 15, 1983, the first Disney resort to open outside of the United States opened its gates to the public! Today, Tokyo Disneyland Resort is a popular tourist destination for families and Disney super fans alike!

Beginning April 15, guests can expect to be part of the ‘Happiest Celebration!’ for the 35th anniversary. At Tokyo Disneyland, World Bazaar will be transformed into Celebration Street. You can also enjoy a new daytime parade, “Dreaming Up!” and catch a glimpse of a new nighttime spectacular “Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland” at Cinderella Castle.

An all-new stage show featuring Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, Mickey Mouse, and friends will find its home at Theatre Orleans where guests are invited to join the gang for “Let’s Party Gras”. Guests will also be able to find “it’s a small world” with all-new Disney characters and scene inside!

At Tokyo DisneySea, join Mickey, Duffy, and Friends for the brand new water show “Happiest Celebration on the Sea”! Then visit The Big Apple during a new show at Dockside Stage, “Hello, New York!” Guests will also be able to visit ShellieMay and Duffy at the Village Greeting Place in their new costumes.

There will also be 35 Happiest Mickey Spots, where guests will be able to find Mickey statues and snap a photo to join in the anniversary celebration. For guests that have Happiest Memory Maker, there will be extra surprises in store!

There will be many new foods for guests in Tokyo to enjoy, bringing some classic favorites back!
