Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Says Goodbye to Disneyland

On November 5th Mickey’s Soundsational Parade made its way up through the Disneyland for the last time for the foreseeable future. This parade soft-opened on May 26, 2011 before officially opening a day later.

A special media event gave a view of the parade from above on risers at the beginning of June in 2011 that included a flash mob before the actual parade.

During a special Disneyland Annual Passholder event, the creators of the parade shared some behind the scenes information about the magic that went into creating it.

Mickey’s Soundsational Parade has been adding magic to the Disneyland Resort for the past 6 years. With Pixar Fest coming to the Resort next year, Soundsational’s future is uncertain. What is certain is that it has been a source of joy and inspiration to thousands of people who have visited the Disneyland Resort.
