Last night, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade was presented for the first time at night for a very special event that was open exclusively for Disneyland Annual Passholders. The parade appeared at 9:30 pm at It’s a Small World and made its way south down the parade route. After the event there was a special panel discussion at the Tomorrowland Terrace with parade art directors Kevin Kidney, Jody Daily, along with show director John Addis. After the discussion, many floats were on display on Main Street, USA along with their performers for photo opportunities. There will be a second presentation of this special exclusive event for Annual Passholders on Monday October 17, 2011.

Here are photos of the first night presentation of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade:

More details and photos of the event will be posted here on DAPs Magic Disney News in coming days.

  1. I was standing like 5 feet away from you guys!

I was there last night but had no idea about the Panel discussion thing. It wasn’t on the card handed out with the bracelets and I didn’t see any mention of it in the email or any signs about it. Was there some sort of notice for that part? We’d been near Tomorrowland terrace just before heading over to find a spot on main street for the parade and had not seen any signage.

    1. The “Disney voice” made an announcement a couple of times right after the parade. I’m sorry you missed it! It was a lot of fun!

Ah we couldn’t understand or properly hear any of the announcements. Hardly ever can sadly.
